The short version

Presenter Pointer collects absolutely no data about you or your device. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no network connections of any kind. Everything stays on your Mac.

What data we collect

None. Presenter Pointer stores your preferences (annotation color, stroke width, tool settings) locally on your Mac using macOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.

Network access

Presenter Pointer does not make any network requests. It has no server, no backend, and no cloud component.

Third-party services

Presenter Pointer does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics libraries, or advertising frameworks.

Permissions

Presenter Pointer requires no special macOS permissions. It does not request Accessibility access, Screen Recording permission, or any other system authorization. It operates using standard keyboard event APIs that require no special user authorization.

Purchases

The purchase of Presenter Pointer is handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We do not see or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs those transactions.

Children's privacy

Since we collect no data at all, there is nothing to protect. The app is suitable for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy in a way that involves data collection, we will update this page and the date above.
