How it works
Presenter Pointer lives in your menu bar. It's ready the moment you need it — no windows to open, no modes to configure.
⌘⇧X from any app. The overlay activates instantly on every connected display. Your presentation app keeps its focus.
Drag to draw. Switch tools with R A C S or P. Shapes auto-fade — or stay forever in Keep∞ mode.
Press Esc to leave the overlay. Focus returns automatically to Keynote, PowerPoint, or whatever you were presenting.
Features
Designed for presenters, educators, and anyone who needs to say "look right here" without breaking their flow.

RDraw a precise arrow pointing at exactly what you mean. No ambiguity, no awkward "that thing over there."
AEncircle the key data point, the critical error, the number that changes everything.

PToggle shapes to stay on screen indefinitely. Walk through a complex topic with persistent annotations, then clear with Esc.
FWorks across every connected display simultaneously. Draw on any screen — Presenter Pointer follows you everywhere.
Choose from presets or pick any color with the system color picker. Match your company brand, your slide theme, or your mood.
Select and remove individual shapes without clearing everything. Stay clean and precise during long sessions.
EWhen your audience knows exactly where to look, they follow your logic. When they follow your logic, they trust your conclusion. When they trust your conclusion — things happen.
Presenter Pointer costs $9.99. Use it once in a meeting that matters. It's already paid for itself.
Highlight the number that matters at the exact moment you say it. No more "wait, which column?" in the middle of your pitch.
Remote teams get context instantly. Point at the spec, the bug, the design decision — everyone sees the same thing at the same time.
Confident, precise annotation signals expertise. Your audience notices even if they can't articulate why.

Privacy Policy →FAQ
Does it require Accessibility or Screen Recording permission?
No. Presenter Pointer uses standard Carbon keyboard APIs — the same approach used by system-level shortcuts. You will never see a permission dialog.
Does it work during Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams screen sharing?
Yes. The overlay draws on a transparent window above all other apps. Whatever your screen-sharing software captures will include the annotations. Make sure you're sharing your full screen rather than a specific window.
What happens when I exit the overlay?
Press Esc or ⌘⇧X to exit. All shapes are cleared automatically, and focus returns to your presentation app (e.g. Keynote). Nothing lingers.
What is Keep∞ mode?
In Advanced Mode, press F to toggle shapes into "keep forever" mode — they stay on screen until you clear them with Esc or D. Useful when you want persistent callouts during a long explanation.
Does it work with multiple monitors?
Yes. Presenter Pointer creates an overlay on every connected display simultaneously. You can draw on any screen, and keyboard shortcuts work regardless of which monitor your cursor is on.
What macOS version is required?
macOS 13 Ventura or later. Universal binary — runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store. Refund requests go through Apple's standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
